what did you buy, did you really like what you bought, did you buy just to have the label and the bag, where do you keep it, did you feel guilty after purchase, was the item very small and what colour, do you feel full?
a fine cotton shirt, slightly see-through, no yoke but the shoulder seam is moved backward about eight centimetres, at the centre back this is only one centimetre creating a rounded effect, the back panel of the shirt is wider and worked into the seam creating a puff, a band of fabric, two and a half centimetres wide, is also sewn into the seam, there is no real armhole, i forgot what it’s called, there are two seams running from shirt to sleeve , like old, old tunics or some of the traditional chinese shirts, plus the transfered shoulder seam also runs down into the sleeve, the collar is just a three centimetre stand, edges at front left rough to fray, five rather small buttons starting roughly from where i have a mole on my chest, no last button, creating an upside down v-shape at the hem, running down over the button holes is a strip of silk about one centimetre wide, the hem is gathered into a strip of bias tape in the same fabric, adding to the overall puff of the shirt, the sleeve is finished with sewn on silk tape, same as mid front, about a half a centimetre from the edge, leaving the cotton to fray, it has been hot these days and i sweat a lot so now there are white stains of salt on the back as my sweat seems to be very salty, yes, i really liked what i bought although i thought it was too expensive, no not really, i had seen the brand and the shop a while back and liked the clothes a lot but thought they were too expensive, they had a sale going on now, i don’t like the back of the bag, it has a drawing of a parrot, i keep it on a hanger in the cupboard, the solid, fake wood one not the panda one, i leave it on my bed a while after i’ve worn it, yes, i felt guilty after purchase, i often do when buying clothes especially if i think they are too expensive, is a shirt small? it could be if you scrunch it up into a ball, especially this one as the cotton is so fine, the colour is an easy guess, obviously a shade of blue, some sort of navy here, yes.
(make a drawing…)
