A list of technical issues that are to solve:
1 How to start the computers at the beginning simultaneously? Shall we use a programme that controls all computers? (http://www.apple.com/remotedesktop/)
2 How can we work more freely, flexible, spontaneously and creatively? How can we save time and work and experiment with filmmaterial and dance together, work in the dance studios with the computer. Is not better to render (and convert, if necessary) in low quality, in order to save time? If the quality is rather low, it doesn’t need a lot of space, could therefore be saved on the computer.
3 Is there any programme that connects all material, so we can cut/edit and convert the last version with full quality at the end?
BTW, I just connected our external hard disk to an airport with usb, my computer is connected through airport, i have access and can work with it easily. There is no problem if we have all computers connected at the same time with airport. Elaine, do you have an airport with usb?
Please think about it and let me know what you think about it.

i wasn’t kidding when i told you guys before that i really liked the fact that all these people are with back to audience, push a button and then walk off stage. i thought they could even be incorporated into the piece somehow.
i don’t have an airport with USB, unfortunately… not exactly sure how you mean about connecting all the computers, but i can see how it will be hard to choreograph with the video together when you’re still editing… that’s why i suppose i was quite surprised to see that the piece looked so well-timed and synchronised, actually, because i was imagining something a bit more loose. not that it should be more loose, just that was what i was imagining.
i will think more about this, though i think this stuff with the computers is only for the premio and not how the piece really will be in the future, so i really don’t think we have to invest something very complicated or difficult for it…
