No. 345A
An airline ticket from Narita to JFK.

How and when did you acquire this object? July 17, 2006. The object was issued to me by American Airlines at Narita Airport, Japan.

Approximately when did it expire? Why? Airplane ticket expire upon use. The expiration time of an airplane ticket, I assume, is when you arrive at your destination. I boarded the plane in Narita at 5:50pm, but landed at JFK at around 4pm *the same day*. Thanks to globalization. or global travel in particular, I guess we can now process objects that expire before they are to be used.

Where has it been located since the time of its expiration? Tucked between pages of my passports.

A brand new Maxell analogue audio cassette tape, still in its original wrapping.

How and when did you acquire this object? Around 1988. I purchased 20 of them for a project I was going to do, but never realized.

Approximately when did it expire? Why? The analogue audio cassette tape, along with pretty much all other analogue technologies, have been rendered obsolete by the advent of digital technology. This object expired because technological progress made it obsolete.

Where has it been located since the time of its expiration? In a storage box.

No. 345C
A package containing five pills, one is missing.

How and when did you acquire this object? I have no idea how this object came into my house, nor when.
Approximately when did it expire? Why? The pills are 'expired,' not because they have an expiration date printed on the package, but because i have no idea what they are for. They expired because their function became unknown.

Where has it been located since the time of its expiration? In medicine box.
